Operates various types of equipment used for floor care maintenance such as automatic scrubbers, floor machines, wet/dry vacuums, vacuums, and sweepers.
Perform stripping, scrubbing, buffing, refinishing or sealing of different types of hard surfaced floors using appropriate equipment and chemicals.
Perform carpet cleaning using approved methods and chemicals.
Secure working area, using appropriate safety barricades, and removing when duties are completed and area is safe for public use.
Follow all safety rules and regulations.
Must be available for daily fill in work which will include:
o Pulling trash o Dusting o Mopping o Restroom cleaning o Restocking consumables, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Skills and Physical Demands:
Work may require repetitive motion including reaching out, lifting, kneeling, walking and standing for several hours at a time.
Must be able to safely operate floor care machines for stripping and buffing.
Must be able to safely operate carpet care machines for vacuuming, scrubbing and extracting.
Employee must be able to move between many different tasks on a day to day basis.
Must have the ability to work effectively and maintain stamina to perform assigned duties.
Must be able to push, pull, lift and carry up to 50lbs.
