Coordinate all logistics for incoming and outgoing materials, supplies, equipment and services used by all Facilities .

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
•Ensures adherence to current import / export regulations and documentation.
•Books international shipments with freight forwarders when applicable.
•Prepares export documentation including Shippers Letter of Instruction, Commercial Invoices, Certificates of Origin, AES filing, as well as other destination specific documentation as needed.
•Coordinates and ensures compliance through (Letters of Credit, Letters of Export) when required.
•Researches and routes shipments and selects carrier(s) based on Company and Customer service/cost requirements.
•Reviews and audits Bill of Ladings and Packing Lists for all Companies and "Ships" in the ERP system daily.
•Analyses rates and prepares cost/volume and other ad hoc reports.
•Secures rate quotes from logistics providers and determines best possible savings for the Company
•Works on container load optimization.
•Responsible for filing of claims with carriers for damage/loss at all Facilities.
•Responds to order inquires from Customer Service, Order Fulfillment and other internal/external customers.
•Actively participate in process flow documentation and standard operating procedures and identifies opportunities for improvement based on internal/ external customer needs.
•Works closely with all Shipping / Receiving Departments to ensure proper supplies arrive.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:

REQUIRED SKILLS
•Good negotiating skills.
•Understanding and experience with Logistics with an emphasis on Import / Export and coordinator various carriers.
•Proficient in business management systems.
•Oral and written English literate.
•Good math, keyboard, and phone skills.
•MS Office proficient
•Formal understanding of continuous improvement systems and tools
•High school graduate.

DESIRABLE SKILLS
•Associate’s Degree or above in Logistic Management, Business Management or Operations Management
•Experience in roll coating and web converting systems.
•Proven implementation of Import / Export system and guidelines
•Proven track record of creating flexible logistics system
•Working knowledge of Epicor ERP system.
