Customer Service- 2nd shift

 

NOC Customer Care Representative is an entry-level communications position in a 24/7/365 Network Operations Center.

 

The primary job function is to monitor email communications between the Velocity NOC and its customers as well as other departments within the company.

The majority of your time will involve monitoring, creating, and sending email. Customer Care Representatives coordinate with customers, NOC personnel, and other department personnel within Velocity, and then guarantee everyone involved is fully updated on status. Customer Care Representatives ensure all email communications are handled quickly and accurately from start to finish.

 

Excellent customer service, communication and documentation skills are required.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Obsession with excellent customer service!
  2. Thoroughly communicating and documenting all details regarding job status.
  3. Continuous monitoring for incoming email.
  4. Ensures communication commitments are kept and nothing falls through the cracks.
  5. Sends out regularly scheduled email.
  6. Acts as single point of contact for NOC email.
  7. Look for ways the NOC can continuously improve.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

 

Qualifications, Experience and Education

1.       Excellent communication and documentation skills.

2.       Working experience with Microsoft Outlook.

3.       Ability to multitask and work quickly yet accurately.

4.       Able to translate between technical and non-technical professionals and recognize when more information is needed.
