The CAD position will not be full time and other duties will be preformed as well. Other tasks may include data entry along with other office responsibilities.
A full understanding of SolidWorks for 3D design as well as the knowledge to create excel driven drawings is required.
Typical Job Duties will include but are not limited to:
~Drawing the layout of rooms and indoor areas for large animal enclosures. ~Occasionally going onsite to take measurements when required by specific builders. This may involve flying to the destination for measurements and layouts and may require overnight stays.
~Drawing animal enclosures to retro fit into existing structures
~Working directly with builders and end users to achieve the correct design for the application
~Working directly with our manufacturing and fabricating/ welding staff to build the enclosures correctly
~Creating instructions for the installation of said enclosures for builders and end users
~Creating purchase orders to vendors
~Updating status reports, contacting vendors for ship dates
