General Duties:
The Kennel Technician is responsible for feeding, exercising, caring, and cleaning cats and dogs. This team member provides quality and human treatment to the animals, monitors animal well-being, and keeps the building clean.
Responsibilities/Qualification:
- Cleaning animal linens and bedding
- Cleaning of animal areas and building
- Feed cats and dogs regularly
- Maintain animal and facility records
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Passionate about animals, positive attitude, and self-directed.
Experience and Skills:
- Understand how to work with fearful and aggressive animals
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people
- The ability to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, crawl
Hours:
- 8am-12pm with 1 day off a week
- 12pm to 4pm with 1 day off a week
