Position
Overview The
Assemblers duties and responsibilities include light manufacturing, preparation
of parts, soldering, and mechanical assembly. The assembler must possess a
positive attitude, be a team player, and work in a high paced environment. In addition, Efficiency and Quality must be
instilled with all work that is performed.
Responsibilities Essential
Functions
- Read
and interpret work instructions, diagrams, work orders, or reports to
determine materials requirements and/or assembly instructions.
- Install
components, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets,
bolts, and soldering
- Adjust,
repair, or replace parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to
specifications.
- Position,
align, or adjust work parts to facilitate wiring or assembly.
- Explain
assembly procedures or techniques to other workers.
- Clean
parts, using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
- Fabricate
or form parts according to specifications
- Confer
with supervisors to plan or review work activities or to resolve
production problems.
- Inspect
or test assemblies for operation and record results.

Qualifications and Experience
Minimum – high school diploma

Wage Rate
- Wage starting at
$10.50/hour or higher dependent on work experience
