Graphic Designer- EXPERIENCED ONLY

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our marketing department is looking for a graphic designer who is familiar with marketing from a marketing-point-of-view.  The ideal candidate should be a strong team player, possess excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, and can work on multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines.

This candidate will report to and take direction from the marketing manager as well as work closely with various other departments to help Hamilton achieve its overall marketing and business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works with our distributors and end users to design modern and attractive artwork to be installed on new kiosks and change machines.
  • Designs the UI elements for orders of our Custom Mobile App program.
  • Designs the graphical elements for orders of custom touch screen themes used on our kiosks.
  • Designs promotional signage, brochures, and gift card artwork for our end users.
  • Assists with copywriting and design of our marketing collateral, including product catalogs, cut sheets, instructional manuals, order forms, and promotional giveaways.
  • Maintains all brand standards 
  • Performs periodic website updates using WordPress.
  • Assists with document control/management.
  • Provides support to Sales Assistant by taking inbound sales calls and assisting with order entry when needed.
  • Stays up-to-date with industry standards, design trends, industry tools, and best practices.
  • Makes recommendations to meet changing design trends and client demands.
  • Executes special projects and other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree a plus but not required in Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a marketing or graphic design-specific role.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM preferred, but not required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to think creatively and brainstorm with team members in a collaborative dynamic.
  • Ability to process constructive feedback and course-correct as needed.
