JOB
SUMMARY
Job Scope: A currently competent mental health
provider who provides vocational
Rehabilitation services as well as job coaching
services to Lucas County Jobs and Family Services referrals. Physical: The physical
demands described are representative of those that must be met to successfully
perform the essential functions of this job. Mobility and ability to
sit, bend, reach and lift 10 lbs. Maintains current and valid certification (or
obtains shortly after hire) in CPR and First Aid and must be physically able to
apply these interventions.
Education/Experience/Other
Requirements:
Ø Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in education,
counseling, social work or closely related behavioral/mental field from an
accredited college or university, plus 1 year vocational rehabilitation
experience required;
Ø or an Associates’ degree plus 2 years
teaching/training or
Ø vocational rehabilitation experience; or,
Ø in lieu of previous requirement, 5 years' experience providing vocational rehabilitation services (i.e. job development, job coaching) to BVR, ODJFS funding sources. (Must be proficient and accurate in computer use, including Microsoft Word.)
Ø Valid driver’s license with an acceptable
driving record is required. Must be eligible to be covered under organization’s
auto insurance policy.
