RESPONSIBILITIES

• Confirms signage accurately conforms to the work order (i.e., spelling, medium, size, etc.)
• Build Sign Structures (non-electrical) ie., monument signs, cabinets, 3D
• Painting of posts, hardware, routed letters
• Dig holes using post hole digger, digging bar, light duty auger
• Install signs straight and level of all sizes and mediums on poles, buildings, and other structures
• Drive and operate a Bucket Truck
• Able to use power tools, saws, hand held tools
• Loads and transports signage to destination
• Prepares worksite by removing unwanted signage, preparing mounting surfaces, and ensuring all electrical sources are in order (where applicable)
• Follows all safety policies and procedures in preparation and installation phases
• Installs signage in strict compliance with work order
• Cleans installation site
• Assist with finishing and print production inside the shop when necessary
• Performs a quality control review and reports findings to team leader
• Establishes and maintains effective team relationships with all departments
• Follows all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or GED required
• Three years of sign installation or other relevant experience required
• Basic electrical/wiring knowledge
• Proficient computer and internet skills
• Must be proficient with the use of a variety of hand tools
• Must be physically able to perform sign installations, which includes lifting 50+ lbs, climbing, and working at heights greater than 10 feet
• Current and unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record
• Able & willing to work outdoors, off-site
