Job Summary

Carleton, MI company seeks individual responsible for administering driver payroll and supporting Payroll/Settlements Specialist

=         Fully participate in and support the KC Transportation Quality System

=         Release appropriate payroll items in McLeod for each terminal location

=         Generate payroll reports for inclusion with checks

=         Sort and process checks weekly

=         Prepare DWRs for audit

=         Calculating miles, flat rates and hours for drivers pay

=         Generate and maintain weekly signature lists and labels

=         Prepare specialized packages and arrange shipments

=         Driver phone calls / customer service

=         Participate in driver orientation process

=         Prepare and process payroll/settlement related communications

=         Distribute communications to management and appropriate departments

=         Process status requests, driver attendance and unemployment claims

Minimum Qualifications

=         Former transportation or payroll experience

=         Computer literate

=         Leadership ability
